Redirecting Children's Behavior
"Redirecting Children's Behavior" is a powerful course that teaches practical
parenting skills in an atmosphere of support, non-judgment and love. Learn how
to build mutual respect, resolve conflicts and create effective teamwork within
your family.
The workshop can be presented in 2 ways: 1. Two Super Saturday workshops
from 9:00 am-4:00 pm
2. Five classes held once a week during
or after school for 2 1/2 hours
The cost is $199 which includes the book Redirecting Children's Behavior and class
workbook. 10% of enrollment goes back to the school for administrative fees.
What parents will learn in RCB:
Module 1- Prevent Sibling Rivalry and Peer Rivalry; Replace Fighting with Negotiation
and Cooperation; Teach Children to Resolve Their Own Conflicts; Understand a Child’
s Behavior and How It Relates to Birth Order
Module 2- Teach Children Respect and Responsibility; Discover Ways to Create a
Self-Motivated Child; Explore How Parenting Methods Affect Children; Offer Choices
so that Your Child can Make Healthy Decisions
Module 3- Understand Why a Child Misbehaves; Learn Specific Techniques That
Work for Each Goal of Misbehavior; Find Out How to Build a Child’s Self-Confidence
Module 4-Teach Self-Control; Find Ways to Hold Children Accountable for Their
Actions; Application of Natural and Logical Consequences to Behavior
Module 5- How to Win the Other Parent’s Cooperation; Planning for Family Meetings;
Opening Communications Between All Family Members
